As I wrap up my visit to Homer’s Coffee House at 7126 W 80th St in Overland Park, I’m struck by how thoughtfully diverse the menu is for a neighborhood coffee spot. From the Warm and Comfy line‑up of espresso‑based favorites like the classic Latte and Cappuccino to richer treats such as Mexican Mocha and Caramello, each drink blends quality and creativity without feeling pretentious. Whether you’re in the mood for an Americano to kickstart your morning or a Breve with its creamy nuance, there’s something approachable in every cup. Prices are friendly, and sizes make it easy to choose a quick pick‑me‑up or a longer sip.
On the Cold and Yummy side, the Freeze series is a real crowd‑pleaser, with options like Mocha Freeze, White Chocolate Freeze, Coffee Toffee Freeze, and Chocolate Chunk Freeze that hit the sweet spot on warmer days. Each icy treat balances coffee and flavor so well you almost forget how much caffeine is in there. Add in simple comforts like Brewed Coffee with free refills, Iced Tea, and Cafe Au Lait for those who prefer something soothing, and it’s clear this menu was crafted with variety in mind. Pay attention to the Coffee Express Card if you’re a regular - it’s a savvy buy.
In short, Homer’s menu feels both familiar and fun, blending traditional café staples with playful twists. The coherent selection ensures that no matter your mood - whether seeking a bold brew or a creamy freeze - you’re well served, making this spot a reliable go‑to for everyday coffee cravings.

First time in decades and was not looking forward to it ..that said, it was not as bad as I remember. The place was clean and the animatrons are gone (they were creepy). They've updated the Chuck E custom so it's not so rag-tag and smaller so more relatable for kids. Can't comment on the food as I didn't partake. Kids had lots of fun. I'd recommend it for an easy party for little kids.
Absolutely love Korinna and Jane — they were so sweet and incredibly helpful with both the kids and the adults. They worked extremely hard tonight and remained kind and professional, even while being bossed around by an unprofessional manager in front of customers. They handled the situation gracefully and truly did a great job. However, it was very disappointing that after spending $65, my children were still not allowed to jump unless I purchased an additional $10 pair of socks
Had my daughters 8 birthday here. The kids we had were age ranges from 3-12 and they all had a blast! We did the 2nd tier of the party I think it was the “mega” birthday booking and I was very pleased with all of it. We were allowed to get their early to prep and they asked when we needed everything like pizza or cake and so on so it was catered to us and that was great. The price I paid for the entire day with my guests and food and cake (cake was ordered thru them after I booked my reservation), drinks alll of it was less than $200… which is killer and my kids had a ball. Two of my kids did get sick that same night so so wash your hands a bunch and take antibacterial wipes with you… kids are germy clearly..lol Our party coordinator was a younger guy with fluffy curly luscious hair and he was great and didn’t do the birthday dance and song like he hated his life so the enthusiasm was actually so appreciated. He was very helpful with everything like the planning and even making sure the birthday kid gets her extra tickets which is awesome. Oh and the I think he was the manager he was dressed very nicely so I assume he was higher up but he was so nice and sweet. Great people working here and to be all positive during the Christmas season with the amount of people around at all times is just so wonderful. The ticket blaster comes with the birthday and it’s super fun. 10/10 perfect birthday party and food was good oh and their plain vanilla cake was actually super good and not fake whipped icing tasting. Oh and the cup every kid gets from the birthday is dishwasher safe! And free refills for lifeeee
Fun! Pizza is ok. Kids enjoy it. There should be more than one pause in an hour but I understand the business model lol
I went here and the dispenser for the cards wasn't working correctly, and an employee gave me an extra 15 min for my hassle. I've been going to this particular chuck e cheese for over 20 yrs now. Wow. I just realized this...I hope they keep this one open for a long time. Thank you chuck e cheese for being a staple in young children's lives. I can remember going to chuck e cheese when I was a kid. I'm almost 50...
We took our kids after school & we basically had the place to ourselves! They weren't busy at all...only one other small family. The nice lady who met us at the door, Amy, was extremely informative & very helpful. She walked us thru all the processes: buying time cards, how to pause them (PAUSE ONLY ONCE), trading in our tickets, ordering food, etc. All of the workers were great at their jobs. They had things stocked & everything was as clean as possible. IMO: I will say that Chuck E Cheese is not what it used to be...going downhill a little more each time we visit. Winning tickets is not easy without spending A LOT of money. Most games only give about 6-9 tickets per each play. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves with 2-one hour play cards, and barely cleared 1k - combined. You can combine $ money with tickets, but we didn't want to do that. FYI 1 penny=1 ticket. An item that costs 4,000 tickets = $40 real money.
This place is wonderful, they also added new games to the place, very great to check out, only negative about this new jumping place inside is you have to pay extra it don't come with if you brought a player card... other then that issue it's wonderful always.
Took my grandson for the first time on my birthday. Yes, my birthday! We had an absolute blast and we were exhausted. We didn’t order food but played hard.
